7 Night - 8 Day Sample Itinerary
Day 1: We will begin our adventure in Nassau. We will pick you up at a set location and take you to your home for the week aboard the Renegade Mermaid. We will spend the afternoon settling in to the boat and picking up some last minute provisions. Day 2: Today is a 30 nautical mile sail to Highbourne Cay which is known for its beautiful beaches and excellent snorkeling. Day 3: We will start making our way south to Compass Cay. This is a great spot to swim with nurse sharks. There are a few trails on shore to check out as well as Rachel’s Bubblebath. Day 4: We will enjoy two anchorages today. Staniel Cay where we will explore the Thunderball Grotto where a James Bond movie was filmed as well as Big Major Cay famously known for their swimming pigs. Day 5:Warderick Wells is our next stop which is home to the Land & Sea park of the Exumas. There are tons of options for hiking, snorkeling and exploring at this stop. Day 6: Making our way north, we will stop at Shroud Cay which has been named by some as the most beautiful island in the Bahamas. This is an uninhabited island. It is known for the washing machine like ride down Sanctuary Creek. Day 7: Today we will stop at Norman’s Cay. This stop has a couple of fun options for dining on shore. This is also the location of a sunken plane that you are able to snorkel. We will end the day sailing up to Allen Cay for our last night aboard Renegade Mermaid. Day 8: Early morning up to sail back to Nassau where we will drop you off so you can catch a taxi to the airport to fly back home after your wonderful week with SailVenture Charters.
